ENrolment PROCESS year 7-12
Thank you for your interest in Carrum downs Secondary College. We hope to make the transition to a new school as seamless as possible!
Our school follows the Department of Education placement policy. The Department provides guidance through the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations. Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones. Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

We recommend for students to new students to commence at the beginning of the school year, at the start of a term, or start of a new semester to minimise disruption.
We welcome all enrolment enquires, however, we cannot guarantee positions for students who reside outside of our current residential zone.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
- A completed Enrolment Form
- A copy of your child’s most recent semester school report
- A copy of your child’s passport/visa document/Citizenship for students born overseas
- A copy of current orders (e.g. family order, intervention order, protection order)
ENROLMENT INTERVIEW
Prospective students and at least one parent/guardian must attend an enrolment interview at the College.
All above documents must be returned prior to organising an enrolment interview.
