Carrum Downs Secondary College runs a large sport program that promotes engagement, leadership and the opportunity for all students to participate. We encourage students to become involved in the many opportunities we are able to provide, always with the school values of effort, integrity and respect.

Carrum Downs is a member of School Sports Victoria and participates in their lmost aspects of the programs offered. We are a member of the Northern Peninsula Division and therefore, the Southern Metropolitan Region. The age groups are Year 7, Year 8, Intermediate (Year 9 & 10) and Senior (Year 11 & 12).

Houses

All students are allocated to a house group when arriving at Carrum Downs Secondary College. The houses are: ANZAC, FLYNN, GILMORE, HOLLOWS. Students participate in the school swimming carnival, athletics carnival and the fun run and earn points for their house. Students who come first in their event on these days are invited to participate at the inter-school level.

On Thursday 20^th February our Senior Boys and Girls participated in the Division Volleyball competition. We entered two boys teams, who both won their respective divisions. The girls also won. The teams are now through to the Southern Region competition on 24^th April.
